Hello world!
I completed a walking half-marathon this Sunday. The title of this weekโs note is in honor of that effort.

๐ฑ Gardening
The temperature has been hovering just above freezing. The hardiest among my sunflowers have survived. The impact has been felt in the germination rate.
๐ฅ Movies
- Marty Supreme, 2025 (Watched: 2026-04-29)
With the first third of the year complete, I am on track to meet my โ26 movies in 2026โ goal. I turned Marty Supreme on out of curiosity and respect for some of the other A24 films Iโve seen.

Sunday
My commitment to biking in cold and rainy weather was rewarded with a very lovely time on Montour. I rode 10 miles Tuesday morning and didnโt see another person.
๐๏ธ I pushed through some ninth mile cramps to finish the half-marathon at the Pittsburgh Marathon on Sunday. This was my third time participating in this event. I didnโt set any PRs but I had a very wonderful time exploring Pittsburgh. The energy of all the people who come out and cheer is so motivating!
๐คญ The on-foot/by-bike percentages favor on-foot activities more than they have since I started tracking.

Most of my social media activity happens on Mastodon.
