Hello world! Let’s dive into the week that was.

Through my Digital Archives

I went exploring through some of my old files from the 2010-2011 era and found this old screenshot:

The Internet Scrabble Club is still available and free to play. The UI is much the same.

  • I find strava-offline a useful way to generate – and query – an SQLite database of my runs and bike rides. Here’s the screenshot I posted:

This HBR article is one of the things I kept thinking (and taking notes) about this week!

I wanted to collect the list of available options here. I would recommend X as its my favorite. Slack emojis are important so expect more content of this type! There’s a Content-Type joke in there somewhere.

🀭 OMGlol
#

I signed up for omg.lol recently and I have been having a lot of fun exploring all of the cool ✨ stuff ✨ that the #OMGLOL crowd creates. Two things that stood out for me this week in particular:

  • the πŸŽ™οΈ Friendship Material podcast is a delightful listen!
  • url.town is super cool! I found some super cool sites there and it’s the kind of place I want to revisit periodically to see what catches my eye! This reminds me of the sense of exploration I had when trawling through /usr/bin/ as a kid!

πŸ₯‡ The First Week
#

Hi! This is the very first set of week notes that I have published. I’m super excited to have this post published! If you have not already done so, I recommend seeing "🌊 HELLO WORLD" for the introductory post I assembled as I worked through my personal approach to week notes.
